The advertisements that we see today have been carefully constructed to appeal to the audience(and their wallets).A demographic by definition is "the statistical study of human populations." In the advertising business, some demographics are more important than others. My examples are full of young people, which is quite a common site in ads. Two of the three are promoting technology. We see this because young people tend to be more eager for the latest gadgets in our society, therefore they are more willing to spend money on those products. While researching this project, I visited a few advertising websites. Almost all included archived studies, or marketing research as they are commonly known. These features are also found on differently oriented sights such as Yahoo, Gawker and the New York Times. Of course, agencies are more likely to focus on those who have a disposable income and who will spend it without hesitation.
