The business has not gone without its detractors. There are claims and concerns about advertising presenting false images that are impossible to live up to. That point is especially highlighted by and about woman. Take the first ad staring Julia Roberts. It has been heavily photo shopped to give the appearance of a younger woman. The problem people take away from it is that it's false advertising and sets goal that most real woman cannot achieve. My second ad I included is about how intrusive advertising has become. Not even in the bathroom can one catch a break from the constant marketing. This is also seen in T.V. shows and movies who have ad placements along with the infamous internet "pop-ups." The final(and quite disturbing) image is of a young girl posing for a clothing brand. Critics of this photo says it sexualizes young girls and has a negative influence.
